 '''if a chat window is already open and if i start a new instant message
 using menus ( Buddies ->new Instant Message ) , then the new tab is added
 to existing chat window but it is not focused. so i cant start typing
 directly and have to click the window to get focus'''. on the other hand,
 if i double click on my buddy in the buddy list, there is no such problem
 and the existing chat window is focused and i can directly start typing. i
 use the menus to send off line messages to my yahoo buddies who are
 offline or invisible since they dont appear in my buddy list unless i
 explicitly ask pidgin to show off line buddies.
