 Well, if it's not on the site, it doesn't exist!  Oh, wait, no, that's not
 true.

 Pidgin is first and moremost a Unix application, and in the Unix world,
 every user has their own home directory, and thus their own Pidgin
 configuration.  More than one user on the same Pidgin configuration is
 basically an abuse of functionality.  Adding this feature you are asking
 for would be a ton of code (most places in Pidgin, for example, assume
 that there is only one buddy list) which would benefit basically no one.
 The -c workaround I provided before will let you accomplish what you are
 looking for without ballooning the complexity of the application to solve
 a corner case.
