 I do appreciate active contribution to Pidgin. I was merely responding in
 stride to your wording which could be taken just as patronizing.

 It wasn't like that when we originally pushed it. It somehow broke since
 then, and our webmaster can't get around to fixing it until the end of the
 month.

 Regrettably, we had to push the webpage before it was quite 100% (more
 like 50%).

 I've updated the News page to acknowledge that we know it's broken, and
 pointed to planet.pidgin.im.
