 I am having some issues with Jabber where I end up getting duplicate
 buddies. I think this is probably specific to Jabber, but it does have
 some impact with this question. If I add a jabber buddy, and they later
 auth or add me, I seem to get duplicate alias entries, ie more than one
 buddy with the same connection/screen name. It would be nice if Pidgin
 would note that I have two entries pointing to the same person, and or
 that I already have a matching alias, and query if that is what is wanted.

 I plan on bugging the Jabber issue separately.
