 Actually, both VLC and BMPx development versions implement the MPRIS spec,
 Audacious will, and xmms2, mpd and amarok may implement it.

 There is unfortunately no archive of the mpris at videolan.org list easily
 accessible online yet, but there isn't much worthy information there.
