 In the buddy list, the groups highlight width is the same as the window
 width as long as there's no selected contact, but when a contact is
 selected, the groups highlight width is reduced by a few millimeters,
 which makes it feel strange because the selected contact highlight width
 is normal.

 I think that the groups highlight should at least have the same width as
 the window whether or not a contact is selected; in fact groups are parent
 objects for contacts, and as a consequence they shouldn't look the other
 way around.
