 For me on Windows XP the problem disappeared with the encoding set to
 CP1251. I've captured some packages and found offline message encoded as
 CP1251. There is maybe some related problem: I've tried encoding
 UTF-8,CP1251 but it doesn't work. It's strange since UTF-8 can be easily
 recognized. It seems if the UTF-8 codec can't decode some character it's
 just replaced by "?" which is wrong behavior.
