 If I type "   asdf   " into the input box on the conversation window then
 highlight it all and press ctrl-c to copy, the copy buffer only contains
 "asdf".

 I don't think it should be up to Pidgin to decide what text I want in my
 copy buffer and it should place the leading/trailing spaces into it.
