 Since Miranda 0.6.8, Pidgin users have been able to fetch Miranda status
 messages, but not with older versions of Miranda (only tested 0.5.1). It
 *might* help to have a look what has changed between Miranda 0.5.1 and
 Miranda 0.6.8.

 It looks to me as there were two different places where status messages
 are stored on the server.
