 I've also seen a crash releated to this: I ran pidgin 2.0.2 on my local
 machine (linux) and the 2.0.2 windows version on a virtual machine using
 KVM (with networking set up correctly). Just starting Pidgin on linux and
 windows worked, but starting the windows version after the bonjour
 protocol had been disabled and re-enabled on the linux machine made the
 linux build crash each time.
