#1931: Too easy to inadvertently combine buddies

 (UI design problem) It is far too easy to combine two buddies into a
 single contact when that wasn't intended. This happens to me when I'm
 trying to move a buddy from one buddy list to another, and I hover it over
 another buddy in my list: the buddy over which I'm hovering expands, and
 it is then hard to tell whether my mouse is between buddies or over a
 buddy.

 Also, once a buddy has expanded into

     * buddyname
       * buddyname

 if you drag something into the space after the second line, it gets added
 to the contact, not inserted as a new buddy after the contact.

 This is clearly happening to other people also. The ''Using Pidgin'' FAQ
 has '''two''' questions whose answer can be summarized as "you have
 inadvertently combined some buddies into contacts".

 I don't know what the right design would be. Perhaps widen the space
 between contacts when something is being dragged? Or change the separator
 so it's easy to tell the difference between "move buddy into contact list"
 and "move buddy to after contact list"?
