 trying to send a file from my tmp directory which belongs to a different
 user seems to work at first (I can select it with conversation -> send
 file) but once my partner accepts the file the transfer fails because I
 had no read rights to send it.

 Would be much better if that would be checked before, so my conv. partner
 would not be bugged unnecessarily.
