 of Gaim and it worked okay, before I tried the lame bird.  Any
 suggestions?  Seems you would want to help people use your product instead
 of "there isn't a whole lot we can do about this with a ton of extra

 jadeignition, try this:
 go into your Documents and settings, Application Data folder and rename
 it.  Mine is here:

 C:\Documents and Settings\mynamehere\Application Data

 I renamed it to C:\Documents and Settings\mynamehere\notApplication Data

 Then it ran without having to do that importing from .gaim stuff.  Once
 it's started up, it should be fine after that.

 I haven't restarted my computer yet, but I'm hoping it's the fix.

 And remember to rename your Application Data folder again.
