 I copied a link in one of my IMs and pasted it into another IM to a
 friend.

 Later I copied a link from my browser and then pasted it into an IM. I
 then tried to do this for another friend and when i pasted it brought back
 the previous link instead of my current link.

 Basically Pidgin is keeps clipboard data if you copy data from an IM into
 the clipboard.

 Then when any data is pasted from outside of Pidgin it overwrites that
 data after the first pasting.
