 I came up with (minus my fix for the G_GNUC stuff and plus your WIN32DEP
 change for the same). Does that work for you? It is slightly less invasive
 and include:s internal.h in a couple less places.

 This is good, and builds with 41,835 bytes less written to stderr than my
 quick patch. I'll have to see about trimming the remaining 87k in the near
 future. Thanks Etan.
