#1984: Windows Pidgin-debug installation has problems recognizing GTK+

I would like to inform you, that the precompiled debug version for Windows
(pidgin-2.0.2-debug.exe) doesn't recognize/detect the installed GTK+ in
all cases.
In my situation I have GTK+ installed in "C:\Program Files\..." so that
every program that needs it can use it and I have (want to have) Pidgin
installed only for my non-administrative user account (this means in
C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Program Files\..". If I try to run the
installation file for the pidgin-debug version, it says that GTK+ is
either missing or invalid version. This means that it doesn't look at that
"global" location to check if it's there or there is an invalid registry
entry or something in the config... The installation starts if pidgin-
debug is run as an administrative user.
Installation of normal pidgin works without any problems if run as a non-
administrative user (although it isn't so beautiful that the default
installation path for GTK+ is "C:\Documents and settings\xxx\GTK" and for
Pidgin "C:\Documents and settings\xxx\Program Files\Pidgin" - they both
could be in the Program Files subfolder).
(pidgin-2.0.2-debug, Windows XP SP2)
