 I confirm this request.

 Even though for 2.0.0 it would be nice if the dialog at least stated what
 size the picture should be, so users can manually resize it.
 For example:

 The file 'c:\myphoto.png' is too large for XMPP. Please try a smaller
 image. The size of the image may not exceed X*Y.
 }}}
