 Hi all =) i've searched for this bug but didn't find nothing.

 On Gaim 2.0.0beta6 if you add a contact in jabber and modify it (like
 using an alias) it creates two different contacts even if it is the same.
 this also happens when you delete and re-send the auth for the contact.
 i've cheched with another jabber client (gajim) to see if i had only one
 contact as it should be, and on gajim is correct, one contact only.
