 In earlier versions of gaim there was a hidden smiley--that is, a smiley
 that was not offered in the graphical smiley list attained upon clicking
 the smiley button.  I believe this smiley was also in aim, but I have
 never tried it.  When someone sent a message containing the string
 "capital c, colon, close parenthesis," C:) , the resulting message would
 replace that string with an aim-styled smiley wearing a Star Wars rebel
 fighter pilot helmet, or something that looked rather like said helmet.
 This emoticon worked regardless of the protocol being used.  Upon
 installing pidgin this was one of the first things I tested, and I was
 disappointed that the rebel pilot has not been replaced with a new rebel
 pilot in the new smiley format.  This particular smiley is the one I
 together with one of my friends use most often; it is an important part of
 our conversation, and I would be very happy if a similar hidden rebel
 pilot smiley in the new style were included in future pidgin releases.
