 This appears like it may be related to #398.
 Pidgin 2.0.0 beta7 spontaneously crashed after running happily for hours.
 The program starts normally, but attempts to log in always resulted in
 crashes.  I attempted to narrow the problem down and found it only
 occurred when I signed on to yahoo, but always occurs when I sign on to
 yahoo.
