 In Pidgin 2.0.0 beta7, when selecting text in the buffer window
 (conversation history? I don't know what its proper name is in pidgin, but
 the part where everything that has already been said in the conversation
 is), if the scrollwheel is used, rather than scrolling and selecting text
 at the same time, the selection causes the buffer window to not scroll at
 all.  If the mouse is moved, the selected text is updated and then the
 window may scroll until the selection causes it to stop scrolling again.
 I do not recall having this problem in prior versions.  In short, the
 selected text is updated after the mouse cursor is moved, but not after
 the scrollwheel is moved.
