 The flag is actually used by the MSN protocol code, but that's not the
 point. Your patch seems to set the RAW flag on messages when no formatting
 options have been set and then uses that to remove the xhtml version of a
 message from jabber. Why do you want to do that? What
 problem/condition/scenario are you solving/allowing with this change?
 Also, are you sure pidgin sends formatting on a message when you haven't
 set any on the message yourself either in the conversation window or in
 the preferences window? Because it looks to me like it shouldn't be.
