Comment:

 You mean using the message notification plugin they don't? If so, that's a
 known flaw in that plugin in 1.5.0, use the betas it will work. Though if
 you use the Urgent hint option in KDE you are susceptible to the "stays
 flashing when it shouldn't bug" that KDE seems not to care about fixing,
 or really working out either.
