 user avatars/buddy icons don't show up in the buddy list or conversation
 windows for XMPP buddies until I've done "Get Info" on that particular
 buddy.

 steps to reproduce:

 1. Start pidgin with a blank profile (e.g. `pidgin -c .pidgintest`)

 2. Add your favourite XMPP account and enable it

 Expected result:
 Buddy list populates with icons for my buddies within a few seconds,
 opening a conversation window to a buddy displays their ugly mug

 Actual result:
 no buddy icons are displayed on the buddy list, no buddy icons in
 conversation windows. However, right clicking on a buddy and choosing "Get
 Info" fetches the picture, and it subsequently shows up in the correct
 places.

 Tested on Pidgin 2.0.0beta7, Ubuntu Feisty
