 So, do you think that a fixed layout for the bottom frame can't be an
 option for the conversation window?

 I also tought that in the above case a placeholder for the buddy icon
 should be used if the user specified no icon. But, I know, a no-buddy-icon
 icon has a slightly different meaning that having no icon at all. What do
 you think about that?
