 Could you try to reproduce it with my patch (now attached for ease of
 use)?  I think that both sadrul's should be reverted before applying it,
 though the second part remains okay (but I believe is an efficiency
 change, not a crash fix - sadrul, please correct me if I misunderstand
 it).
