 I was using GAIM beta 3.1 for a while then today upgraded to Pidgin. It
 installed fine. Now every time Pidgin starts up I get an error dialog:
 "Unable to Add - Could not add buddy 1 for an unknown reason. The most
 common issue is that you have the maximum number of allowed buddies in
 your buddy list"

 OK. I deleted about 10 buddies that I no longer need. Restarted Pidgin and
 the same thing occurs.

 What do I need to do to make this stop happening. This happens every time
 now. This never happened using GAIM beta 3.1 that I was using.

 I uninstalled Pidgin adn reinstalled the GAIM beta 3.1 that I had and the
 problem stops. I reinstalled Pidgin and this problem reoccurs.

 Help!
