 I like to use minimal conversation windows that are small and don't have
 the formatting toolbar, and I make reasonably heavy use of
 Conversation->Insert Link. Because there doesn't even seem to be a
 keyboard shortcut to do this, I now have to use the formatting toolbar to
 do this, which requires I keep the conversation windows at a fairly large
 size or constantly resize them. Please reconsider this.
