 Yes, and sim is likely to take a long time fixing it because it is a
 terrible client, I would encourage you to get your friends to switch away
 from it.

 What xhtml information is pidgin sending when you don't specify any
 formatting?

 Note: I'm not against the idea of not including an xhtml section when
 there is no xhtml data to send (assuming the XEP allows for that) I'm just
 not sure this is the right way to do it. And as to sending just one
 formatted message to the J2ME client, that would depend on whether the XEP
 allows for that sort of thing easily and cleanly. But assuming it did then
 solving this correctly would allow for that.

 I will need to look at this patch again and see if I can think of a good
 way to solve this and/or if I really think the patch is wrong. I have only
 looked at it briefly so far.
