 Darn, I just assumed that "fixed-width" meant you could set an arbitrary
 width for all the tabs.  I am not able to read the patch in any useful
 manner though so I can't use that for informative purpose to know what's
 going on.  Being able to set a max width for side tabs would be an awesome
 feature though.
