 It is a strange task to do, cause I use the port of Pidgin for FreeBSD,
 and I don't know if the
 pidgin-beta-2.0.0.7.tar.bz2 version that uses it is the same that you are
 working on. Nevertheless,
 I changed some things in the ports, applied your patch, and recompiled
 Pidgin with nss instead of gnutls. It crashes again. I will post the
 backtrace.

 I think though that is might be an MSN thing, since if I do not add an MSN
 account, it works.
