 I installed it from a deb package at
 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=2572923#post2572923

 I'm reasonably inexperienced at compiling from source, although I did make
 a couple of attempts and couldn't figure out how to make it include
 gstreamer or networkmanager support and even without those Make threw some
 errors that were incomprehensible to me.
