 The biggest disappointment with Pidgin right now is that the buddy icons
 for each of my buddies is now a green circle (or blue clock if idle).
 Previously, with GAIM, they held the AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, MSN icons - which
 made it easy for me to:
 1. tell which protocols I am logged in as (depending on the location, I am
 unable to use certain protocols)
 2. give me the option to choose/use a specific protocol (Some friends use
 one, others use 2-3) and/or account to chat "from" (I log in with multiple
 Yahoo and AIM accounts; one is personal, others are for work)
 3. In the above situations, I may be logged in with both my AIM and Yahoo
 accounts, and see m friend "Mike" also logged in with his AIM and Yahoo
 account; I dont have a QUICK and easy way to send a message using Yahoo
 (the preferred method for me, as well as him; we may have AIM for some
 friends who only have AIM accounts; for me, the whole point of using
 something like GAIM/Pidgin).

 Otherwise, I dont see any other disappointments ... so far...

 go GAIM.. er.. Pidgin, go!! :-)
