 Hi all,
     In Linux, the default behavior is pidgin can spawn multiple instances
 of itself, having multiple .purple directories & hence having multiple
 chat logs, etc. etc. This is not nice for general user as :-

 1. The general user wouldn't know that the .purple is being spawned &
 wouldn't be able to integrate his logs & stuff if he wanted to do.

 2. The general user if not careful would be using his account again, in
 which case there would be another nick

       All in all looking for a foolproof solution to the above.
