 If I move my ICQ buddies around I always get the popup box: "Please
 authorize me!" which I just have to confirm with 'OK'.

 After that the buddy always should get a authorization request, if he does
 not get a request there's the possibility to right-click the buddy and
 're-request authorization'. At least then your buddy should get the
 authorization.

 If the buddy has successfully got your authorization and granted your
 request you'll get following message: 'The user xxxxxxxxx has granted your
 request to add them to your buddy list.'
