 Configured pidgin-2.0.0 on Solaris 9 with:

 ./configure --disable-rpath --disable-tcl --disable-tk --disable-gtkspell
 --disable-deprecated --disable-gevolution --with-x --enable-gnutls
 --enable-cyrus-sasl --disable-perl

 "make" fails in libpurple -- see attached script output for details.
