 Today I decided to install Pidgin 2.0 in order to see what was new in it.
 However, whenever I go to add my Yahoo account, Pidgin crashes. I did a
 search through the tickets and the net and couldn't find anything similar.
 It does not look like the DLL hell described on the page.

 Here is the sequence of events that I used to add the Yahoo account:

 * Accounts Menu > Add/Edit
 * Add button.
 * Basic Tab:
   Protocol: Yahoo
   Screen Name : (my screen name)
   Password : (my password)
   Local Alias : KC
   Remember Password : checked
   nothing else was checked, advanced tab fields were left at default
 settings.
 * Clicked Save
 * Crash

 I tried using a bogus password and saving it once and it would return an
 'invalid password' error. When I changed the password to the correct one
 and tried connect, it would crash.

 I uninstalled everything, removed the directories/settings and reinstalled
 everything with the same result.

 This is running on WinXP Home, Latest Patches.
