 In pidgin 2.0 on Windos XP:

 I sent an IM with the following link.

 http://slickdeals.net/?sduid=0&t=509962&u2=http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000JWYAJQ/ref=s9_asin_image_2-2288_g1/102-8235505-7722542

 Clicking on the link in pidgin resulted in an error. I took a screenshot
 of the error and attached it to this ticket.

 The error might arise from the fact that this link is supposed to redirect
 to another link (the amazon link after the last equals sign).
