 This attached backtrace does not contain useful information, and this bug
 doesn't happen for most people, so we don't currently have enough
 information to do anything about this.  A useful backtrace would be great.
 If it freezes but doesn't actually crash then you can do "kill -6 [pid]"
 and it'll give you a core file which you can use to get a backtrace with
 info about what it was doing when it died.

 Do you have any 3rd party plugins installed?  Have you ever installed any
 plugins on your own?  Are you sure you don't have more than one version of
 Pidgin installed?

 If you delete ~/.gaim/accounts.xml and ~/.purple/accounts.xml it'll clear
 out your accounts and the problem will go away.
