 I have updated the pidgin and libpurple ports to 2.0.0.  I cannot
 reproduce the crash any longer on 7-CURRENT and 6-STABLE.  I am using
 protocols that load ssl-nss (i.e. MSN and XMPP).  The diffs are at
 http://www.marcuscom.com/downloads/pidgin.diff and
 http://www.marcuscom.com/downloads/libpurple.diff.  They patch net-
 im/pidgin and net-im/libpurple respectively.
