 Desc:

 - When adding a sametime account for the first time, the entire buddy list
 loads up correctly.[[BR]]

 - However, once the account has been added, and the buddy list has been
 persisted, subsequent connections via pidgin only loads a partial buddy
 list (10 buddies out of 100).  It is not clear why some buddies appear and
 some don't.   There doesn't seem to be anything unique or common in
 relation to those buddies that appear and those buddies that don't.[[BR]]

 - Sending a message to myself works without a problem[[BR]]

 - As soon as I am typing a message to another user, the buddy goes
 offline.  When the conversation window is closed, the buddy goes back
 online.  The behavior is same when repeated multiple times (buddy online
 -> typing message -> buddy goes offline -> closing chat window -> budy
 goes back online)[[BR]]

 - Sametime users who try to send a message to the pidgin user encounter a
 similar behavior (the pidgin user goes offile as soon as trying to send a
 message).[[BR]]

 - As a result no messages can be exchanged between a pidgin user and any
 sametime user.

 The problem has been there since the last few beta versions.

 To recap, the issues are:[[BR]]

 1.  Buddy list is incomplete[[BR]]

 2.  Cannot send or receive a message from any sametime user

 In addition, the following error is observed:

 meanwhile: file common.c: line 382 (mwString_get): assertion
 `check_buffer(b, (gsize) len)' failed
