 I don't think adding GTalk icons, if any, is needed. The real problem I
 see is, it's really tricky to configure a google talk account. The user
 has to set screen name, server and connect server to make it work.

 Now this is totally different than AOL/ICQ issue (I was the sf user who
 created that ticket, I think I own the original idea). You enter your ICQ
 UIN instead of the AOL name, set the password and you're done. The fake
 account was to make it obvious that Gaim/Pidgin also supports ICQ.

 I believe the same should apply to this, Pidgin UI should make it obvious
 that it supports Google Talk as well. We all know that GTalk is actually
 XMPP, but the average user does not.
