 I noticed "Google Talk (XMPP)" was added to the "Add Account" dialog. I
 think this is the right direction, as I think very few end users know that
 GTalk is in fact based on a protocol named XMPP.

 What I don't really like is the fact that selecting "Google Talk (XMPP)"
 selects "XMPP", I was really confused and tried to select the former
 again, only to see XMPP selected again. This riminds me of the joke videos
 of windows, where the user wants to press "Ok" and when hovering over the
 button it changes place with "cancel" or something.

 You already set the domain to "gmail.com" but I would also set connect
 server to "talk.google.com" or perhaps even remove this option from the
 advanced tab for GTalk (was well as the old SSL and plaintext options,
 those are NOT needed by GTalk and should not be supported)

 Lastly, I have some GTalk protocol icons, which would fit in very nicely
 (two jabber lightbulbs just doesn't look that great ;)
