 I got a system message with an apostrophe in it from yahoo. The dialog
 displayed "... with you even if you don't. ..."
 Currently it's only having g_markup_escape_text run on it and there's a
 question in the source if it even needs that.
 I can't test anymore because I don't know how to coax a system message,
 but I think there's a function already to unescape these entities so it
 should be a pretty easy fix.
