 When i installed Pidgin for my WinXP machine, one of the first
 installation wizard screens i saw had a picture of a giant, scary set of
 eyeballs.  It took me a minute to realize that it was supposed to be a
 closeup of a cartoony, purple pigeon.  But even then, i wondered why this
 bizarre picture was the way Pidgin chose to represent itself.

 I think the purple theme and the pigeon for the mascot are great, but why
 not show the bird quickly delivering a message from his carrying pouch?
 Or at least zoom out a little on that startling install window!
