 This is a re-open of a bug from gaim that is still present on 2.0.0 on
 both X11 and win32.

 I've noticed that in gaim text becomes unhighlighted on
 RGB value change in the color dialog.

 Steps to Reproduce:
 1. Open a new conversation
 2. Type some text
 3. Highlight text
 4. click the Blue A to edit the foreground color or the
 white A on blue to edit the background
 5. Drag the dialog so that it is not on top of the
 conversation (optional)
 6. Play with the color triangle/ring on the left of the
 dialog (optional)
 7. Hit the arrows next to the HSV or RGB values. At
 this point the text becomes unselected
 8. Hit OK (optional)
