 I would really see some face-lift operations made on the buddy list's
 look. I mean there are several ways to improve the look of the buddy list.

 1. The new status-icon theme is nice, but those icons could be a little
 bit larger, I mean a single entry for a buddy is about 50 pixels in height
 (or more) from which the icon occupies less than half the space. And put
 them on the right side of the entry, and the buddy icon on the left side.
 For a person who uses left-to-right writing rules this would be more
 natural. At least I think so.

 2. I understand that there are ways to change those status-icons, although
 not from within the GUI, just by simply overwriting files. And if someone
 changes those icons there could be a situation where one doesn't
 recognizes which state an icon represents.  So I'm suggesting here to have
 the status also written, for example after the alias of the buddy
 separated by a dash or something and have them colored differently
 depending on the status they represent ('''BuddyAlias''' - Offline[red],
 '''BuddyAlias''' - Available[green], etc.).


 There is a Jabber client called Pandion. This program's buddy list is
 really nicely done. It has some more professional look, without not beeing
 qute. Have a look at it and decide yourself.
