 Hi, I use something called "Virtual Dimension" which is a window/workspace
 switcher for Windows.  Pidgin sometimes gets confused when I switch
 workspaces, and fails to re-paint the tab pane, or exhibits other re-
 painting weirdnesses.

 I'll attach a screenshot.  Here I attempted to send text from a surprise
 editbox which had appeared at the top of the frame, and was told that I
 was "not [the] channel operator".  My theory is that there's a failure to
 repaint after this editbox appears?  Maybe the virtual dimension window-
 switching actuates the appearance of this box?

 Please let me know how I can help!  My firm is has started using a jabber
 server, which I've been slow to adopt because of this bug in Gaim/Pidgin.
