 I am a novice user and had been using gaim in the Windows env. I recently
 upgraded to pidgin and the buddy list window contains all green (or grey
 cross) circle icons for buddies in all protocols. Previously I could
 identify buddies using one protocol from another. For example an yahoo
 buddy would have a different icon and a aim buddy a different icon. I
 could not find the option to set that.

 I am sorry if this is an irrelevant question, but I cannot find the answer
 for this in the forum.
