 Thanks datallah for a very quick reply. Seems like a lot of experts have
 discussed this to death.

 As one of the user using gaim for a long time, I have liked this feature
 very much and found it very useful and handy. I know it is a pain for you
 developers to make these changes and maintain it with being the most
 active sourgeforge group. All I could do is make a request to all you guys
 to reconsider and <i>please</i> try to bring this feature back!
